Rector Attends Akulturasa Fine Dining at ITB: Where Science, Art, and Culinary Heritage Converge in a Nusantara Gastronomic Experience

The Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Tatacipta Dirgantara, attended the Akulturasa Fine Dining event at Aula Timur, ITB Ganesha Campus, on Friday evening (June 19, 2026). Carrying the theme "Jamuan Nusantara: Sundanese Gastronomy," the event served as a meeting point for science, art, culture, and culinary traditions through a research-based gastronomic experience.

The event reflected ITB’s commitment to offering a distinctive culinary experience that showcases the integration of research and creativity. It was attended by ITB leaders, industry partners, alumni, academics, researchers, students, and various stakeholders who support the advancement of research and innovation at ITB.

In his remarks, the Rector stated that Akulturasa is a new initiative envisioned as a platform for showcasing creative works and research outcomes generated through interdisciplinary collaboration. The featured projects originated from research and collaborative initiatives carried out by ITB students and faculty members from various schools and faculties. According to Prof. Tata, such cross-disciplinary collaboration has the potential to produce innovations that are not only academically significant but also meaningful and relevant to society.
