BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Again, ITB graduates proved their existence and credibility in the field of telecommunications and information. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) soon will be the only bank in the world to have a satellite. BRI is scheduled orbiting satellite into space on Wednesday (08/06/16) 20:30 UTC or Thursday (09/06/16) Indonesian time. In order to prepare and operate a satellite named BRIsat, BRI held a number of diaspora including two alumni of STEI ITB named Omar Isnawan and Dr. Ir. Meiditomo Sutyarjoko, MSEE. Both of them are also participated in guarding the operation in the post-handover BRIsat from Space Systems / Loral, LLC (SSL) Palo Alto, California, United States.
