gDayX Indonesia Invite The Student to Make a Business
BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Telecommunication industry and the internet user have been growth rapidly Indonesia, which make a new oppurtunity to develope a great technology. Based on this situation, School of Business and Management (SBM) of ITB together with Google Business Group (GBG) and Google Developer Group (GDG) held the gDayX Indonesia 2014. Located in TVST B - ITB building, on Saturday (22/11/14) gDayX Indonesia 2014 promoted a topic "Build A Meaningfull Startup". This event, attended by various of businessman, aplication developer, start-up developer, and employe of Google to give some training and sharing.
In the first session, SBM-ITB announced officially a new courses "teknologi base bisnis". This course will open to all first grade student of ITB, which have an interrest to start a business. This course is a cooperation between SBM-ITB and Kibar as one of google consultant. The second session, Yansen as a Chief Executive of Kibar, presented a moonshoot thinking. "Not only success as a business, but also be a business who have a positive impact to other peoplle," Yansen said. In this session, every single student who attended got many motivation to begin a business.
Moonshoot thinking, tell us that radical modification not only incremnet. Radical modification not only tell us about 10% changing but also 10 times changing. Radical modification must be follow by fast action and courgae to take a risk. Three main key in moonshoot thinking are think the big problem, breakthrough technology, and make a radical solution.
Third session presented by variant business such as Fikri Gustin (Marketing Division Brodo Footwear), Dimas Ginanjar Merdeka (CEO Maicih), dan Dicky Sukmana as creativepreneur. Every single of the speaker told their story behind their business's process. "Weakness can be change to the strength by creative problem solving," said Dimas. Dimas told his experience about his business maicih, which have a production capacity lower then the market demand. The next session, employee of google shared their experience about their activity and work environment in Google.
