Improve Financial Accountability, ITB Cooperates with BPKP

He said, in matters of financial monitoring ITB must continue to learn. Moreover, ITB construction funds in next year's reached Rp. 300 Billion. "In 2013 will become greater because we plan to build campus in Jatinangor," he said.
The process of learning through collaboration is also important to remember that ITB has no specific faculty studying the financial problems. "It is an honor for the ITB to be working directly with BPKP," said Akhmaloka.
So far ITB has had the rector in charge of overseeing all activities in the ITB, namely the Internal Supervisory Unit. Based on the audit from government, ITB has been awarded "Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian" (WTP), and the result of the predicate is excellent.
After the memorandum of understanding was signed, Head of BPKP Prof. Mardiasmo gave a brief lecture about the Internal Control System of Government (SPIP). In addition, he also spoke the pillars must be held by a stakeholder who have a great responsibility like Rector in order to not to get stuck into an undesirable situation. "BPKP come to the ITB in order to help and assist," said Mardiasmo.
