ITB Improving Multicampus Infrastructures
JATINANGOR, itb.ac.id - ITB multicampus programs were still developing especially in the terms of infrastructure and transportation. The need of vehicles' pool in Jatinangor was just fulfilled nearby the south gate of Jatinangor campus. In the same time, many new buildings has been completely done. The fulfillment of the infrastructures satisfy many stakeholders. The pool was not built for shuttle bus, but also for the official and operational vehicles of Executive Directorate of ITB Jatinangor. The area of the pool is 432 square meter and wide enough for 8 mini buses. The pool is open for 24 hours under the Facilities and Infrastuctures Section's monitor.
ITB has built many new buildings to support academic activities in Jatinangor campus since 2010. Along with the new majors open in Jatinangor, ITB is in need to improve numerous supporting facilities. One of them is transportation facilities between the Jatinangor and Ganesa. ITB facilitate vehicles for the trip between the two campuses. There are 5 units of shuttle bus available every weekday.
The public vehicle needs special attention, especially about the parking lot. The pool then becomes the solution. The management hopes that the maintenance can be monitored and scheduled well by having the pool. The pool was funded by DIPA and constructed in 4 months.
