Bandung, itb.ac.id - The Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, officially began the 2022 WJIS (West Java Investment Summit) at Trans Luxury Hotel, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Bandung. Held on Wednesday (5/10/2022), it carried the theme "Green Investment: Food Security & Renewable Energy" to maintain the sustainability and momentum of West Java's economic growth through the encouragement of investment and mitigating increases in food and energy prices.

The 2022 WJIS was held for two days. It was initiated by the West Java Provincial Government and the West Java office of Bank Indonesia to present business opportunities and partnerships with national private sectors and attract foreign investors. Both the government and the central bank would like to use this event to promote the prioritized sectors in West Java- the food and renewable energy sector.
