Several officers attended the discussion, namely WRRI Prof. I.G. Wenten, the Chairperson of the LPIK, Dr. Sigit Puji Santosa, and the Head of Pustekhankam ITB, Dr. Djarot Widagdo. Dr. Djarot delivered his presentation titled "Realizing Defense and Defense Research and Development Coordination through Multi-actor Integration and Digital-Based Coordination". In his presentation, he stated that there are five vision and plan of Pustekhankam ITB, namely:
1. Independence as the essence of national resilience,
2. R&D activities as a spur to increase domestic defense and security technology capability so that it can achieve independence.
3. Synergy to move forward faster to catch up with the increasingly rapid development of needs.
4. Coordination of R&D to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of existing resources.
5. Institutional development through internal resource development supported by active cooperation with partners consisting of the government as policymakers and users, producing industries and users, and user communities.
The sufficient number of R&D results in defense and security by ITB researchers shows the great potential of ITB resources to become the leading players in developing the technology and industry. ITB aims to support sustainable R&D activity and produce a greater impact on realizing the ideals of technological independence.
