BANDUNG, itb.ac.id — The Geodesy Student Association (IMG-ITB) collaborated with Aksara Lab Indonesia in organizing IMG Mini Bootcamp #3, a bootcamp event that discussed the usage of Google Earth Engine (GEE) for geospatial data analysis on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The event aimed to broaden participants’ knowledge of geographic information system (GIS) technology and cloud computing-based mapping.

Participants were introduced to GEE and its functionalities in remote sensing data processing, including land use classification and spatial analysis.

Alam Ramadhani, S.Si., an expert in the field of remote sensing and geospatial analysis, served as the speaker and explained several core features of GEE, such as how to import and clip data, apply cloud masking techniques, and implement machine learning algorithms like Random Forest for land classification tasks.
