BANDUNG, itb.ac.id—The School of Business and Management, Bandung Institute of Technology (SBM ITB), is once again presenting the Ganesha Business Festival (GBF) 2026 as a space for developing student entrepreneurship. This event will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Summarecon Mall Bandung by presenting more than 50 business stands, inspirational talk shows, financial literacy sessions, an investor hunt, and guest star appearances.
Director of Marketing & Communications GBF 2026, Naila Sasikirana, said that this exhibition is the culmination and closing of the entire GBF 2026 series. After participants have participated in various competitions and business development programs, this exhibition is a space to show the real results of the process to the public.
"This exhibition is not just about showcasing our work but also serves as a meeting place for students, industry, investors, and the general public within a real business ecosystem," he said.

This year, GBF 2026 is on a larger scale than previous editions. In addition to featuring two guest stars, Pasming Based and NPD, this event also targets a visitor reach of up to around 10,000 people. GBF 2026 is designed with a concept that combines exhibition, education, networking, and entertainment in one series of events.
Of the more than 50 booths present, approximately 40 were SBM ITB student businesses and projects. These projects stemmed from various learning processes, including courses in Introduction to Engineering and Design, Prototyping for Entrepreneurship, Integrated Business Experience, and Business Practice.
Manager of Exhibition GBF 2026, Kayla Syafa M., explained that this exhibition is an opportunity for students to test their business ideas directly in front of the public.
"Through this exhibition, visitors can see firsthand how students develop ideas into real products or businesses," he said.

According to Kayla, the experience provided more concrete learning than classroom presentations. Students were able to interact with potential customers, receive feedback, understand market needs, conduct direct sales, and practice explaining the value of the businesses they were building.
In addition to the exhibition, GBF 2026 also presents Investor Hunt, a program that connects potential businesses with potential investors. Through this program, participants have the opportunity to pitch and present their business models, market potential, and business development plans.
"With Investor Hunt, GBF 2026 will not only be a business exhibition but also a platform that opens up opportunities for collaboration, funding, and more serious and sustainable business development," said Kayla.
Naila added that the entertainment element of GBF 2026 is designed to broaden the event's appeal, particularly to the younger generation. The presence of guest stars and interactive activities is expected to attract more visitors to learn more about SBM ITB student businesses firsthand.

Through GBF 2026, the committee hopes that students will not only see business as an activity of selling products but also as a means of creating solutions for society.
"Fundamentally, businesses exist to meet needs and solve problems in society. Therefore, we hope students will see entrepreneurship as a way to create greater impact and value," said Naila.
By combining business exhibitions, education, networking, investor hunting, and entertainment, GBF 2026 is expected to strengthen the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within ITB while also providing a space for students to bring their business ideas closer to the market, industry, and the community.
