Rector of ITB : ITB Graduates Must Hold 'the 5As'Working Principle.

"ITB Graduates are expected to implement the principle of the 5As : Work Hard, Work Smart, Work Introspectively, Work Completely, and Work Whole-heartedly," said The Rector of ITB, Prof. Akhmaloka, Ph.D in his speech in the third Graduation Opening Ceremony Academic Year 2010/2011 at Sabuga ITB on Saturday (16/07/2011).

He also added that ITB graduates were also expected to be reliable and trustworthy, always upheld the noble values, and had a good social life, in addition to academic excellence.  

The Rector hoped that after graduation the graduates would actively participate in supporting the implementation of MP3EI (Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Economic Development in Indonesia)

With this plan, Indonesia was expected to join a group of high-income countries.
"I really hope that ITB Graduates will play important role in developing the innovation systems" said the rector.

In his speech, The Rector also thanked the various government Institution, ITB alumni, corporations, foundations, and societies who always support ITB in all forms of contribution,ranging from scholarship to research grant, also community service.
Rector also mentioned some awards achieved by ITB from April to Juli 2011. One of them, ITB was ranked the 44th out of 100 Top World Universities by the Ranking Institution 4icu on July 8, 2011.
 
    
This ranking was based on three criteria, namely google page rank, yahoo inbound links, traffic and alexa rank.
