SBM and NTU signed MoU

JAKARTA , itb.ac.id - School of Business and Management (SBM) ITB on Wednesday (26/02/14) signed an MoU with Nanyang Technopreneurship Center (NTC). The signing was done in Technopreneurship Inaugural Forum who raised the topic of 'Driving Sustainable Economic Growth : Science , Innovation and Business' . This forum also invited Prof . Kuntoro (Founder SBM ITB) , Dr. Mari Elka Pangestu (Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy) , Bertil Andersson (President of NTU) , and Koh Boon Hwee (Chairman of the Board of Trustees NTU) 
In the deal , the focus was on student exchange , joint research, and dual degree. Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU ) was signed by Prof.Sudarso Kaderi Wiryono and Dr. Hooi Den Huan to establish and strengthen cooperation between the two academic institutions. The forum aimed to create and raise awareness of the impact of the strong economy due to technopreneurship. In addition, this forum was also expected to drive growth creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship between Singapore and Indonesia. "Almost all of the best entrepreneurs in Indonesia have graduated from ITB after 8 to 9 years of study in ITB. In fact, some of them have been dropped out from ITB. So I thought itÂ’s fine if Mr. Akhmaloka could result in more dropped out students, " Kuntoro jokes attracted attention while delivering the welcoming speaks. Regarding economic sustainability, Marie Elka Pangestu said that there are three challenges that must be faced among other things; to end poverty, to enhance social inclusion, and the sustainable planet. Besides aiming to strengthen cooperation, this forum also became a very good moment to expand the network and collaboration between two world-class academic institutions. ITB and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) were expected to continue to be at the forefront of entrepreneurship education and innovative technologies. Source : sbm.itb.ac.id
