School of Business and Management (SBM) ITB is an example. The school which considered among youngest faculties in ITB has unique tradition in welcoming their new student. Every year, SBM new students invited to attend the special procession arranged by SBM. This year, the activity took place in Multipurpose Building (GSG) ITB. On Saturday (16/7) night the building is jiggered into luxuriant feast place. Chairs and dining table covered with exclusive white cloth spread over the room to give elegant impression. New student parents which invited peculiarly by SBM occupy the desks. At 19.00 WIB, MC open the event continued with traditional dance to greet new students. Eight peripatetic dancer moves from podium to the main gate. Over there, they fetch more than 130 SBM students generation of 2011. All students make a move under umbrella brought by the dancers. Line of man come first into GSG continued by coed line, afterwards they were all straight to the podium. SBM Dean Prof. Dr. Ir. Surna Tjahja Djajadiningrat gave the felicitation to new student. He explained student generation in SBM differs from other majors in ITB. Therefore SBM students expected to commit to pass as according to their generation. After deliver his short oration, the dean handover Bizlist to those SBM students who have outstanding achievement like GPA equal to 4.00. Event continued with speech from Haryono. He delivers motivation to all students to be an entrepreneur. In his oration, he tells only 2% Indonesian needed become an entrepreneur to make entire nation secure and prosperous. Entrepreneur as he intend is not always those with thousands of employees, but one with 15 employees is also called entrepreneur. However, that employees is not according to minimum wage regional (UMR) but must be secure and prosperous employees with adequate salary. Right after oration session event continued with present delivery to the winners of WiMAX Business Idea Competition which is performed by SBM cooperate with Indonesia Tower. The event also marked with SBM student generation of 2011 reveals their promise just led by their chief. The vow is covered with the rallying call “Salam Ganesha”.
