The visit was hosted directly by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Widjaja Martokusumo (Secretary of the Institute), Dr. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T. (Dean of SEEI), Prof. Ir. Prof. Taufiq strengthened this statement by stating ITB’s hope that this collaboration will spread to the Research and Development (RnD) realm as much as possible.
Ricka welcomed this hope by explaining that there is also a social project program with the community as the key point. Environmental engineering lecturer in ITB has also received an award for the program.
“Telkom's services for ITB will later be led by an Account Manager, who is none other than an ITB alumni," she said.
Since July 2023, Telkomsel has focused on retail while Telkom will expand into the B2B realm, one of which is partnering with ITB.
ITB also hopes for an internship program from Telkomsel to open up opportunities for students to dive into the world of work. In addition, the Director of Technology and Information, Mugi Sugiarto, M.A.B., hopes that there will be an equal distribution of connections at ITB Jatinangor to support the activities of TPB (first year) students there.
"We are opening up opportunities for collaboration with friends at ITB. Perhaps there are capabilities that can be developed to be brought to the community, such as technology with AI," said Ricka.
