JATINANGOR, itb.ac.id –   The journey of Common Preparatory Program (TPB) students at ITB Jatinangor campus started on August 21, 2023, showed a visible enthusiasm from the students. The new campus environment has instilled a positive atmosphere, particularly for the freshman of the academic year 2023.

With a vast land of 47 hectares, ITB Jatinangor campus offers ample space for students to learn and engage in activities comfortably. Additionally, the campus boasts adequate facilities that serve as a significant asset in enhancing the students’ potential, both academically and non-academically.

One of the Common Preparatory Program Students, Sabila Fauziyah (FMNS, 23) shared her experience about ITB Jatinangor Campus. “Having been to the ITB Ganesha Campus previously, the notable difference lies in the size of the area. ITB Jatinangor Campus feels more spacious and less crowded, allowing activities outside of class to be supported by sufficient space for mobility. While the campus facilities may not be as comprehensive as Ganesha Campus, they are still considered adequate to support the freshman college classes at ITB Jatinangor Campus.” she stated on Saturday (09/09/2023).

Furthermore, Common Preparatory Program students feel immense support from ITB’s lecturers, who play a significant role in the learning process and help students adapt to the new campus environment.

One aspect that has captured the attention of students is the innovative approach of studying. Collaborative subjects such as Introduction to Engineering and design (PRD), Indonesian Language: Scientific Writing (TTKI), English, and Introduction to Computation, introduces the concept of artificial intelligence (AI) to the new students, providing broader knowledge before entering their preferred study programs.

“Personally, I feel that relocating the Common Preparatory Program (TPB) students to the Jatinangor Campus is an initial positive step for ITB. Hopefully, this commitment will be followed by continuous development of more sufficient and supportive facilities that can help the learning process at Jatinangor Campus. This way, we are confident that we can continue to make a positive impact, not only within ITB’s academic community but also among ITB’s freshmen and the broader Indonesian society.” she added.

With their passion and enthusiasm, the Common Preparatory Program (TPB) students of the academic year 2023 are fully prepared for the academic journey that awaits them. With the determination to achieve outstanding academic achievements and the motivation to make a positive contribution towards society and the nation, TPB 2023 students are ready to begin their journey with dedication to God, the Nation, and the Alma mater.
