ITB Virtual Integrated Career Days 2022: Seeking the Aces of Corporate Talents in ITB

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The recent pandemic never deterred ITB’s academic society to search for information and opportunities to work. This Thursday (19/05/2022), ITB Career Center officially unfolded the Virtual Integrated Career Event ITB, May 2022, which was attended by the rector of ITB, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D.
The event held online during 19-22 May 2022, called ITB Virtual Integrated Career Bridging, combined the concept of an exhibition panel, interactive presentation, promotion, and open recruitment of a company. In addition, ITB Career Center also provided career counseling for the jobseeker participants to receive advice from experienced industrial and organizational psychologists.
“The Integrated Career Bridging is a career-exchange activity held periodically as a part of ITB’s graduate appreciation event. This time, we did it virtually,” remarked the Head of Sub Directorate of ITB’s Professional Development and Entrepreneurship – the Director of ITB Career Center, Sonny Rustiadi Bec., MBA, PH, .D., CBAP.
The ITB Integrated Career Bridging was first held in 1998. Not only a historical mark in ITB’s history, but it is also a national career exchange that bridges the needs of ITB to provide link and match of their alumni with 19 business partners.
The Rector of ITB, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah participated in the opening of the ITB Virtual Integrated Career Bridging Event, May 2022. According to Reini, in the 5.0 era society, students are demanded to solve multiple challenges and social issues while utilizing many innovations made during the 4.0 industrial revolution.
She expressed that even with the massive innovation of technology, human beings must still maintain a good quality of work-life balance. Therefore, this exhibition was held to demonstrate an example of an important initiative to realize career development in the 5.0 era society. “As technology develops, companies will ask for the best talents. ITB will supply these demands for the sake of our nation, especially in the field of technology and information,” she explained.
