That's the underlying, one of the ITB alumni Nurhayati Subakat (Pharmacy 1971) to develop a halal cosmetics for Muslim women.
Nurhayati was ITB alumni were able to get out of their comfort zone to pursue a career as a businessman. Nurhayati cosmetic products used to merely offer home products door to door. However, due to the persistence and hard work Nurhayati successfully market its products to date into a flagship product for women, especially Muslim women. Husband of Subakat (Chemistry 1968) was successfully established PT Paragon Technology & Innovation (Wardah Cosmetics). Currently, PTI already has 2 factories located in Tangerang Cibodas and with 4,500 employees in Indonesia.
Women born in Padang Panjang, West Sumatra, began a career as a pharmacist at the General Hospital in Padang.
