Smile Aero 2015: Presents the Future Smiles, Concern for the Nation Successor

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - One of tri dharma for higher education at ITB is a community service. The process by which students go directly to the community to contribute through inteligence, socialization, or apply scientific owned to the public. Keluarga Mahasiswa Teknik Penerbangan (KMPN) ITB which is a compilation of the student's program of study aerospace world truly understand the meaning of community service. Located Rumah Perlindungan Sosial Asupan Anak (RPSAA) Ciumbuleuit, Bandung, on Friday (04/09/15), KMPN ITB held a social event titled 'Aero Smile'. This activity aims to provide motivation to the orphanage children not to be afraid to dream and pursue a dream, enhance the spirit of learning and introduce the flight technique to children residing in the home.
Activities that lasted 2 hours to give the impression is very positive. Rosmiati as administrators and business RPSAA claimed to be happy with the arrival of KMPN to motivate children who were in the orphanage, "With the program of KMPN ITB will increase the knowledge of children here especially the passion for college," said Rosmiati with passion ,
Aero Smile brought a smile to all children in RPSAA. Motivation seminar began with a dream to achieve the dream of writing to bring all children comprising 13 untill 17 years of age was very enthusiastic, there were dreams of becoming a doctor, a pilot up football player. Not only that, as a student who concentrated on the areas of aerospace, KMPN ITB also give them knowledge about the creation of a glider, the concept of simple plane that can float in the air. They received training and learning how to make a simple glider and get a chance to fly a glider.
"It used to be the only aircraft in the form of toys, but in fact now be tangible bird giant iron that can lead us to fly, we students of aeronautical engineering make the glider as well as a description of the work as a graduate who will make the airplane," said Fadly (Aeronautics Astronautics in 2014) as chairman Aero implementing Smile.
The real contribution of KMPN to RPSAA also be done in the form of donations of clothing, books, and stationery for younger siblings who are at home so that they could continue to be motivated and eager to pursue dreams and its ideals. "The event ITB brothers make a very nice, I will continue to SMK flight and be a football player," said Adrian, Grade 9 junior who already quite long in this RPSAA.
Aero Smile was not the only event that took place with the duration of 120 minutes, the hope after this program, to create a good relationship between students who joined in KMPN ITB also good relations between the parties at RPSAA KMPN ITB. Rosmiati messages encountered during a brief interview may reveal younger siblings of students do not drop out of communication to us all in RPSAA and always pay a visit to meet with us and provide motivation and other useful knowledge.
