Toshiba Global Recruitment Program Intake 2008

Bandung, itb.ac.id - As a part of company's recruitment strategy, Toshiba Corporation held Global Recruitment Program (GRP) workshop on Thursday (23/11) at Seminar Room, Labtek VIII Building. The workshop aimed to recruit talented human resources to join with Toshiba. GRP Workshop in Indonesia will be done in three major universities i.e Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Universitas Gadjah Mada. There already four indonesians students recruited through GRP which entered its second batch last year. Two of them are ITB's alumnae. The workshop was started by showing company profile video of Toshiba, which covered its history, philosophy, products, and Toshiba concern upon the environment. Mr. S. Suzuki then gave a brief presentation on company's performance. Next, Erikson, recruited Indonesians, shared about his experience living in Japan. Students who interested to join the GRP must comply with several qualifications, i.e core competence (from engineering or science faculty), GPA minimum 3 (out of 4), and skill in english. More than 50 students attended the workshop, many of them were standing throughout the workshop since there was no seat left.
