West Java Collaborates with PIKKC ITB in Developing the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - West Java Provincial Government collaborates with ITB to create a monitoring system, integration system, and Big Data Analytics. The system is for West Java Provincial Highways and Spatial Planning Agency (DBMPR Jabar).
This collaboration has started in 2020, led by Prof. Suhono Harso Supangkat (Head of PIKKC ITB) and Dr. Fadhil Hidayat (Head of the PIKKC ITB Research Team).
PIKKC is the Smart City and Community Innovation Center, one of the research centers in ITB. The collaboration focuses on developing the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform and its implementation from Units (UPTD) I to VI spread throughout West Java Province.
The Head Officer of DBMPR West Java Province, Ir. A. Koswara M.P., opened the schedule on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 13.00 to 15.00 WIB via Zoom video conference.
More than 85 participants attended the assistance of BPMR Smart Infrastructure System development of the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform. The participants mostly from DBPMR and ITB team members.
At the meeting, Prof. Suhono Harso Supangkat (Head of PIKKC ITB) explained that the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Concept is still undergoing the first phase.
There are three main BMPR enablers in the system: Intelligent Kebinamargaan, Smart Spatial Planning, and Intelligent Construction Services. Furthermore, Dr. Fadhil Hidayat (Chair of the PIKKC ITB Research Team) also explained big data and IoT and its future developments in the West Java BMPR Office.
Also, Zulkifli Arsyad, S.Kom., M.T., as a team member, the system is available both for personal computers and Android.
