Biography

  Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., serves as the Rector of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) for the 2025–2030 term, succeeding Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., who held the position for the 2020–2025 term. Previously, he was a Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at ITB. He has over 25 years of experience in education and teaching, research, community service, as well as industrial services and training at both national and international levels in the field of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.   Since Institut Teknologi Bandung was inaugurated in 1959 by the First President of Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno, the leadership of ITB has changed from time to time. Video Profil ITB 2024 - 2025

Bersamaan dengan dimulainya AKB di lingkungan kampus, ITB akan menyelenggarakan peringatan 100 Tahun Pendidikan Tinggi Teknik Indonesia (PTTI). Peringatan ini akan mulai disiarkan secara nasional melalui TVRI pada tanggal 2 Juli 2020. Puncak acara 100 Tahun PTTI tersebut akan dilaksanakan melalui Sidang Terbuka secara daring pada hari Jumat 3 Juli 2020.
Untuk ini, Rektor mengajak seluruh sivitas akademika untuk hadir dalam acara tersebut sebagai bentuk syukur atas anugerahNya bahwa ITB telah mencapai usianya yang ke-100 tahun. Pada video ini pula, disampaikan informasi mengenai pelaksanaan UTBK untuk SBMPTN yang nantinya dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap dengan tetap mengikuti protokol COVID yang ketat.
