BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – The School of Architecture, Planning, and Policy Development (SAPPD), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), held the ATRIA Architectural Design Exhibition in July 2023 and featured a total of 98 architectural works.
With the theme of "Designing to Contribute", ATRIA Exhibition 2023 raised three major streams involving social, energy, natural resources, climate change, nature change, and the environment.
The displayed works are the curation results from the studio, the final project, the design thesis, and the winners and nominees of design competitions. The works belong to the ITB students of Architecture, Urban Design, and Landscape Architecture, as well as the works of the Architecture of other State Universities of the Legal Agency (PTNBH), lecturers and retirees of Architecture ITB, and professional alumni.
This exhibition is a part of the 6th Habitechno International Conference’s pre-event that will be held on November 11th, 2023, at ITB. The ATRIA Exhibition has become a place for students, lecturers, and alumni who will start a career as professional architects to show their best work.

"We changed the exhibition space to 2 floors by using scaffolding, a tool commonly used in the building construction process," she said. This concept emphasizes the exhibition as a part of national development, where the displayed works can contribute indirectly to the public.
Aside from the exhibition, ATRIA also organizes other events, such as Project showcases, talk shows, and workshops. Every weekend, these events will be held in order to broaden the knowledge of practitioners, academics, and students, as well as to introduce architecture to the public in general.
Through the ATRIA Architectural Design Exhibition, ITB and all of the stakeholders in architecture hope it can propel the industry of architecture and contribute to the public in solving social, energy, natural resources, climate, nature, and environment challenges nowadays.
