Flag Ceremony Remembering IndonesiaÂ’s 66th Independence Day in ITB

Like any other Flag Ceremony, it began with the councilor of the ceremony entering the field of ceremony, continued with a salute, honoring of the councilor of the ceremony and report from the chief of the flag ceremony. The ceremony is then continued with raising Indonesia's Red and White National Flag by the Flag Raisers, together with the Indonesia's National Anthem playing in the background.
The ceremony is then continued with a moment of silence in honor of our fallen heroes, the reading from the text of Pancasila, a reading of the introduction to Indonesia's 1945 Constitution, followed by a nationalistic song.
25 Years Dedication
In this ceremony, ITB rector honored some of their faculty members with the ITB 25 years token of Appreciation accompanied by Vice Rector in Academic and Student Field, Prof. Carmadi Machbub.
Every ITB faculty members who was awarded with this token of appreciation has dedicated 25 years of their lives for ITB. This honorary process was then ended with prayer, report from the head of the ceremony to the councilor of the ceremony, a salute to the councilor of the ceremony, and the councilor of the ceremony leaving the area of the ceremony. The ceremony that was conducted together with the ITB Student Choir and Waditra Ganesha Marching band was closed with the dissembling of the lines.
The theme of this 66th Independence Day is. "With the spirit of August 17, 1945 Proclamation, we increase our life awareness in Bhineka Tunggal ika, Strengthening Indonesia's unity, and support Indonesia's leadership in ASEAN FORUM to strengthen ASEAN solidarity"
