ITB and PT Bank BRISyariah Collaborated in Sharia Banking Services

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id - Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) has collaborated with PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk regarding the implementation of sharia banking services. The signing of MoU was carried out by Rector of ITB, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., with the Director of PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk. Ngatari, Wednesday (11/11/2020) virtually.

The scope of cooperation between ITB and Bank BRISyariah includes the use of Islamic banking products and services such as payment of employee salaries; payment services for student obligations (payment of SPP, PMB) and other student bills; cooperation in the use of Hajj and Umrah products; service cooperation and other sharia banking services. The two parties both agreed to cooperate in terms of human resource development. There are several activities comprised, such as assisting in particular in the field of education, and cooperation in the field of higher education tri dharma (teaching, research, and community service).

After the signing, in her remarks, Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., embraced the partnership, "As a head of the institution, I would like to make wider collaboration with BRISyariah. As two parties, we would establish a mutually beneficial connection, so that the two institutions can advance together just like our motto," she said.

The Director of PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk. Ngatari expressed his gratitude to ITB for the collaboration. BRIsyariah will provide banking service facilities for students and all ITB academicians, including payments for educational development contributions (SPP), cash management system (CMS), and another sharia financing.
