The inauguration was in accordance with the Rector’s Decree of Institut Teknologi Bandung Number: 506/IT1.A/SK-KP/2025 regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of Leadership Officials of Work Units at Institut Teknologi Bandung. The appointed officials will serve for a two-year period until March 4, 2027.

ITB Rector Prof. Tatacipta, in his speech, expressed gratitude to the Directors, Deputy Directors, Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Offices, Chair of Common Preparatory Stage Program, Heads of Technical Implementation Units (UPT), and Secretaries of Agencies for the 2020-2025 period for their outstanding dedication and contributions.

"Congratulations on your new responsibilities to the Directors, Deputy Directors, Heads of Units, Heads of Bureaus, and Deputy Heads of Agencies for the 2025-2027 period. I trust and believe that you will carry out this duty to the best of your abilities for the progress and success of ITB, as well as for the greatness of this nation," he said.

He stated that the ITB academic community and the public have high expectations for ITB's progress and its contributions to the nation and society.

"We will work together to create an excellent academic atmosphere, with leadership that facilitates and empowers the entire academic community to contribute their best work. This includes producing outstanding graduates with strong character and humility, generating impactful research and innovation, as well as providing solutions to local, national, and global challenges," said Prof. Tatacipta.
