"For me, the fact that I could study here is like getting the best gift ever," exclaimed Eddy Gunawan, a student of Civil and Environmental Engineering Faculty 2010. Eddy knew that only a very selected few could be admitted in ITB from where he comes from, Kediri. "So, well, I am extremely delighted to be given the chance to study here."
The same dream was what motivated Agnes Theresia Damanik, a student of Electronical and Informatics Engineering School 2010. Agnes, from Medan, was attracted to ITB because the alumnis are proven to be very successful people. One particular factor that attracted her further was the soul of arts permeating in the air in the campus. "An engineering campus, but the arts side is very notable. It's like IKJ."
"ITB is very much different than what I thought it to be. I thought the students were going to be cold and closed. Turns out they're pretty friendly," she continued. "They're very inspiring. The mindset that ITB students are individualists need to change."
"For high school students that are confused as to where they want to continue, ITB is one of the definite best," Eddy claimed. "You can never go wrong when going here." Eddy also stated that the myriads of scholarships being offered to the students should make financial issues less than a burden.
