BANDUNG, itb.ac.id. – Going from the challenge of establishing relationships with several foreign universities in improving various programs at ITB, such as student exchange, double degree, and other international conferences, the ITB staff Jani Nurhajanti proposed an idea called "Apkerma".
Apkerma is an acronym for Aplikasi Kerjasama (Cooperation Application), a platform for ITB and external parties, namely for the MoU, research collaboration, and others. Jani has become one of the finalists for the Nationwide University Administrative Staff Awards by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education in 2019. The nomination made her feel happy and proud, "The nomination will be my motivation in working for ITB.B Hopefully that Apkerma could be useful for ITB," said Jani on Wednesday (09/06/2021).
The platform that she proposes makes the process of reviewing documents easier. Also, Apkerma can shorten the hardcopy correction system, leading to an eco-friendly or paperless solution. With these advantages, the administration process will be easier, and other files could be achieved properly.
Jani has been working at ITB for the past 17 years. She said that working in ITB leads her to find motivation, happiness, and gratitude. This motivation led Jani to successfully go through the best administrative staff selection process at the ITB level. The selection process consisted of several steps, namely submission, interview, and presentation of proposed ideas. Those who have reached the last step would be the ITB Outstanding Administrative Staff or Tendik Berprestasi ITB.
Even though Jani has arrived in this place, she wants to contribute more and explore her potential. "Hopefully I can focus more on improving my working quality, be involved in several development programs, implement many ideas, and support ITB," she said.
