DKM of Al-Jabbar ITB Mosque provided this donation to orphans of Elementary Education age. They are prioritized because they are considered to be more dependent compared to older children.

“We help them to fulfill their needs near the Eid, we help them to be joyful when the Eid finally arrives,” said Mahmudin S.P.

The program collected a fund of 6 million IDR which then will be donated to 50 orphans in need. In this program, every orphan will be given money and parcels as a form of humanitarian aid to those in need.

This orphan donation program has been held for several years and its recipients are increasing every year. Even so, the DKM of Al-Jabbar ITB Mosque is still trying to ensure that every orphan gets proper attention and assistance.

This year, the donation package for orphans who live near the mosque was handed over in Al-Jabbar Mosque, for the orphans who live far from the mosque, the package will be delivered directly to their house.

This orphan donation program cannot be done without the cooperation of the DKM of Al Jabbar ITB and the donors, who are mainly ITB lecturers and educational staff. The donors were very enthusiastic to participate in this donation program.

Formerly, the DKM of Al Jabbar ITB Mosque distributed pamphlets to ITB educational staff to participate in this orphan donation program. The donors responded positively to this invitation.

The DKM of Al Jabbar ITB Mosque hopes that this orphan donation program can continue to provide help for children in need.
