Visual Art Research Group is a group that covers artistic and applied aesthetics expertise field in the context of visual art. Those fields are specifically divided into three subgroups; Two-Dimensional Art, Three-Dimensional Art, and Intermedia Art.
As one of the contributors in education, Visual Art Research Group members are obligated to share the knowledge of visual art and the language of art-making. The research group is also encouraged to conduct qualitative research in order to intensify the value of art.
As a social practise, visual art is heavily related to social aspects in daily activities. Thus, community service is often done by Visual Art Research Group. Furthermore, personal value development in creating visual art can naturally open the chance to the realization of innovation that can be the basic aspect of entrepreneurship that is linked with creative economy industry.
